INTEGRATIVE NUTRITIONIST MENOPAUSE SPECIALIST
Hi, I’m Lindsay Christen
My mission, is to be the guide, advocate, and clinician I wish I’d had during my own health transformation.
My own journey started with years of endometriosis, thyroid dysfunction, infertility, and not having the understanding yet of what my body needed. Next came the difficult decisions that come with being a BRCA carrier and higher cancer risk. I chose to move forward with preventative surgery, which means I woke up from surgery and entered into menopause.
Abrupt menopause at 41 yrs, as an active Mom of four young kids challenged me in ways I hadn’t expected.
I navigated autoimmune flares, food sensitivities, and the emotional work of accepting and loving my new body, while finding the hormone balance to help my symptoms and protect my bones, brain, and heart for the future.
I quickly realized I was not alone, and there were many similar women struggling to find answers. Whether from surgery, cancer treatment, or endocrine therapy, women who experience sudden hormone loss need a specialized understanding of the layered complexities. Unlike typical menopause, there are fewer resources, fewer specialists, and far less support for women navigating this kind of complex hormone loss.
Why I do this work
empathy meets expertise
My journey started a deep dive into uncovering the WHY's to my own symptoms.
I did what I know how to do best: I listened closely, dug deep into the science, and learned how my nervous system, gut, immunity, hormone metabolism, and whole physiology were responding to surgical menopause. Spoiler alert: hormones are only one piece of the puzzle.
Using functional nutrition I was able to eliminate my joint pain and put my autoimmune disease in remission.
After healing my gut and lowering overall inflammation I absorb and respond to HRT much better.
I’ve taken control of my bone longevity through proper absorption and targeted nutrients.
Along the way, something became very clear. There was a massive gap in care for women like me. This fueled my purpose - to help other women like you find answers, confidence, and hope sooner, and to remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.
Menopause may be having a cultural moment, but women facing surgical or medical menopause are often left out of the conversation.
LC Women’s Health exists to change that.
I do this work so no woman has to walk this road alone, wondering if this is “just how it’s going to be.”
Healing is possible.
Relief is possible.
And informed, confident decision‑making is possible—even when your situation is complex.
My Approach

What it’s like to work with me
I aim to be:
An advocate, helping you make sense of conflicting information and medical guidance
A guide, translating complex science into clear, actionable steps
A steady presence, when fear, grief, or overwhelm are part of the process
A problem‑solver, willing to stay with the puzzle until the pieces make sense
A compassionate ally, you’ll feel safe, seen and supported.
Your story doesn’t scare me. Your complexity doesn’t overwhelm me. And your desire to feel better—fully better—is not too much.
